Insomnia and Nutrition: What You Eat Can Keep You Up

Do you have trouble sleeping at night? If so, you probably have trouble concentrating during the day. If this is the case, then you should try and find out why you can’t sleep. If you have insomnia, what you eat may be causing it. Food is fuel but you need the right types of fuel in order to function properly. For instance, if you eat foods high in sugar and caffeine, this can keep you up past your bedtime. And even when you do sleep, it’s not quality sleep. What you get is a tired and sluggish feeling all throughout the day, which can cause your work and home life to suffer. So make sure you’re putting quality food into your body so that you can finally get the sleep you need.
